Armstrong – who played for the Adelaide Crows, the Sydney Swans and Collingwood between 2010 and 2015 – has watched his star rise sharply in the TV world over the past few years since dipping his toe in the industry.
He started off as a host of an Indigenous football program on AFL media before branching out and winning a Logie award for most popular new talent in 2022.
